Located just 4 miles outside Chichester, 4 miles from Goodwood and great beaches / walks nearby.

A lovely self-contained annex cottage attached to the main Farmhouse in Oving village. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area has a great airy feel with it's high ceiling and is beautifully finished. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances **PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO DISHWASHER IN THIS PROPERTY **.

The large master bedroom offers a comfortable King Size bed, full wall fitted wardrobes and vanity table. The bathroom has a fitted shower over the bath to soak away the day. A stair ladder off the main living space leads to a further mezzanine level containing two single beds - perfect for two extra adults or children aged over 7 years (due to steepness of stair). Also Ideal for a couple with a baby to occupy the master bedroom with travel cot. Secluded location off road, with ample parking for up to 2 cars just outside.

Our local pub experienced a devastating fire in February 2025 and remains closed. We have a list of places to eat in our digital guide.

Located on a private rural farm estate there is discreet parking for up to two vehicles outside the property. Your own separate patio and garden with seating and BBQ area.

The tennis court is available between 10 am and 6 pm only due to the proximity of another holiday let and ask you to respect other guests.

There is a selection of well-loved rackets in the Laundry room for guest use. We suggest bringing your own balls to play.

The Pool is only available Easter - October. It is shared with another 2 bedroom holiday lets all year as well as our home (which is also a holiday let July to September)

The Pool is available to our Pear Store guests between 10am - 5 pm

We suggest bringing robes and flip-flops for ease

We live just next door, and although coming and going we are available to help where we can. There is also a digital welcome guide to the in the property with local information.

A lovely village outside of Chichester, Oving has a church, park, community hall, and great local pub serving good food. The Gribble Inn is a mere 200 yards away and has it's own brewery to sample during your stay... and why not!?

The property is a great location if you are visiting Goodwood or wanting to visit the beach or walk the beautiful south downs - there are so many wonderful places to visit here and Oving is a great spot to base yourselves.

Chichester train station is about 4 miles away. There is a bus service from Chichester but it is limited. This property best suits someone with a car or bike.

NO OUTSIDE VISITORS CAN USE THE POOL FACILITY - STAYING GUESTS ONLY

It is heated using an Air Source Heat Pump. If you are bringing a baby and hope to use, please keep in mind that the pool temperature varies. We only heat UP TO 28 degrees and can rely on the out door temperatures / sunny weather helping. Another thing that can make it fluctuate is not using the pool cover - we ask guests to ensure it is put back on after every use or it will lose a vast amount of its heat and can take a long time to get it back up to temperature. If the sun is shining it gets vary warm in the pool house and this helps massively!

The Washing Machine & Dryer is located in a utility building adjacent to the property.

It's worth noting this property does not have a dishwasher - there is a sink / drainer. We even throw in the washing up liquid and scrubber :)

If you move furniture it is important that you return it to the original setting for our next guests.
